Electrofried old chap, many thanks for following up my suggestion regarding beans. The meal being prepared looks, as I believe the younger folk say, scrummy. With your permission I shall save this photo and at some point employ it as a screensaver on my useless p.c. However, I am at the moment using a particularly fine study of the antipodean thespian Nicole Kidman, as nature intended her, and I fear it may be some time before I grow bored with this image. May I also say how much I like your botanical studies, very beautiful.

dear philby,

thank you very much for popping in to say hello and I'm delighted you enjoyed the Gallery.

Please feel free to save the photograph of the beans - I would be very honoured for my work to adorn the screen of your recalcitrant PC. As an aside, I've always found the best way to deal with mal-functioning technology is to give it a good kicking. It may not necessarily fix the wretched stuff, but one usually feels better for it afterwards!

Look forward to welcoming you back to the House soon.

best regards

I like the dog photo very much. We had one like that once called "Jack". He would bark at visitors from under the sofa.

dear birmingham,

apologies I've overlooked your comment for so long. The dog in question is young Dylanne, a transgendered Springer spaniel and an especial favourite of mrs electrofried.

My own "leader of the electrofried pack" is the collie/spaniel cross whose photo appears in Gallery 8 of the "365 Photos" series. Mollie is a canine of some considerable intelligence ... which rather makes up for her owner's deficiencies!

best regards,

dear earl,

great to see you in the House and apologies for overlooking your comment for so long.

As regards the location of the cricket ground, would mention of "The Bears" provide a useful clue?
